Cuc Phuong national park is one of Vietnam’s most important protected areas. Though wildlife has suffered a precipitous decline in VietNam in recent decades, the park’s 222 square Km of primary tropical forest remains home to an amazing variety of animal and plant life: 307 species of birds, 133 species mammal, 122 species of reptile, 2000 plant species and counting.

The Real Highlight of park is a strenous five-hour hike through the forest to Kanh and Muong village, where you will sleep & eat with local Muong People, and you can still see their traditional stilt houses, waterwheels, bamboo rafts, brocade looms, and raft on the Buoi River the next day.

Daily departure

Day 1: Ninh Binh – Cuc Phuong National Park (L - D)
Morning :
	-	At 8h30 – 9h00 am, Leave your hotel in Ninh Binh area on the magnificent
		countryside road to Cuc Phuong National Park, it takes about 45 minutes to the park.
	-	Visit Endangered Primate Rescue Center (EPRC)
	-	Transfer to the center and having lunch at the restaurant in the Park Center.
Afternoon:
	-	Hiking with local E.S guide through forest (about 16km/5 hours) to Ethnic Muong and
		Kanh village, where you will sleep, eat, see their traditional stilt houses.
Evening :
	-	Having dinner and drinking local rice-wine with local people at homestay.
	-	Over night in Homestay with local Muong people.

Day 2: Muong village – Ninh Binh (B – L)
Morning :
	-	Morning view of homestay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in
		the fresh air in the real nature village.
	-	Visit Muong’s traditional stilt houses, brocade looms, bamboo rafts on the Buoi River
		and walking around the Ethnic villages, and having lunch at Muong village.
Afternoon:
	-	Transfer to Ninh Binh area and arrive at about 15:40 (EST), and the trip ends at your
		hotel in Ninh Binh (Or transfer to your hotel in Hanoi upon your request!)
